My little princess I couldn't hold you too long I had to let you go Time was too short The day was too long No watch could hold the time Nothing could comfort my soul There were endless sleepless nights There was a great pain that my heart had endured Such an unbearable loss I placed you beside your great Grandma The little box in which you lay so brightly glowed.... The roses I laid on your grave never faded The incense I burned on your grave never jaded Your little curly blonde hairs Your beautiful big brown eyes, Your fair skin, With your lips like tender pink petals, I laid you to your eternal bed.
